The Electric League administers the Richard W. Becker Scholarship Fund which is held in the Seattle Scholarship Fund portfolio.  Each year, a University of Washington and a Washington State University electrical engineering student are awarded a $1,000 scholarship.  Students are chosen by their university. Scholarship funds are raised each year by generous participants at the Electric League Golf Classic.
